    Hi i built a pc and this is the first time i ever overclocked it. the following are the specs;

    -------------------------------------------------------
    CPU: AMD BARTON ATHLON XP 2800+
    MOBO: A7N8X-E DELUXE
    RAM: SAMSUNG 3X DDR 256 PC3200 /768 MB TOTAL
    GRAPHICS: AGP ATI SAPHIRE RADEON 9250 128 BIT DDR 256 RAM
    -------------------------------------------------------

    THE CPU WAS RUNNING AT 2.083 MHZ AT FIRST AND I HAVE PUSHED IT TO
    2.484 MHZ (200 X 12.50) IVE BEEN TOLD THIS CPU COULD GO UP TO 3000 MHZ
    BUT THIS IS AS FAR AS IT GOES FOR ME ANY SUGGESTIONS? THE CPU VOLTAGE WONT GO ANY HIGHER IS AT 1.8 AND THE SYSTEM TEMPERATURE IS AT 48*

    Reset the malcome booss the the infermerator then...(Multiply by 3)...
    Then set this all on hold for 2 min ok?... The when you hook up an spc device for your connection for your icon to icon contact. use the red wire on the Mpg cable and snip it off and snip off the spc cable blue cable and hookthe 2 cable that were snipped and attatc them! then it should make your pc work!
    Happy Trail sir!

    @ baalz, keep up that crap & you will be banned, if you have nothing helpful to say, say nothing!

    @josedavid, please don't type in caps! You've done quite well getting your CPU up to a 2.4!

    I'm not much of an overclock expert but may I add something.
    I think what is meant is that running at 2.0 stock AMD = a 2800+intel(Pentium 4 2.8)
    You OC'd at 2.4 so that boost puts you up to or past a AMD 3000+ (3.0Pentium)
