What OS are you using? For XP you can go to MY COMPUTER, right click on my computer and choose properties. Go to the advanced tab. Choose start up and recovery. Click on the settings button. You will see the System start up and default OS selection. Choose the OS you want as default and then, uncheck the 'time to display list of OS' button.
    Hope this helps.
