hii everyonee! kay so i have an ATAPI DVD A DH20A4P DVD drive and it used to work more than fine before; but ever since i tried this hot swap trick from this tutorial to do with burning 360 discs it hasn't worked sincee ;/ I am running Windows XP Professional SP3 and it recognizes my DVD drive as the E: drive. However it does not read discs. Everytime i insert a disc it will load and freeze up for about 20 seconds and then the folder of the E: drive will open and there will be a function to 'write files to blank disc'. I dont understand. I'm not inserting blank discs, i've been inserting music CDs and such. Also i have flashed the firmware after having no hope with it, thinking this will work but still no luck ;/ Everythings plugged in properly and like i said it still gets recognized by Windows. Discs just don't get read and i can hear sound like it's spinning. any suggestionss? thannkyouuu! :]
