Athlon XP 2100 question

    I know this may sound dumb, but i'm really poor and i'm lookin to replace a dead mobo i have. The processor is still operational and i keep seeing this new AM2+ socket on all mobo's i can afford. Will my Athlon XP 2100 fit in this new socket? Sorry if this sounds dumb, but i have searched everywhere for this answer with no luck.
