Ati 9800 Pro flashing to xt help

    HI,
    I need help on flashing to the xt bios i can overclock to 450 core speed and memory at 381x2= 762 but when i flash it i get artifacts i tryed two bios what the site told me it

    and i have r360 i changed the fanheatsink to vga sliencer it say r360

    any one have any idea what i can do to flash it right or something

    Thats what you get when you when you flash your 9800PRO to 9800XT. Overclocking will significantly reduce the life of your video card. I'd recommend just using Rivatuner or a similar program to raise the clocks just a little, but not too much. If you want better performance, get a new video card.

    The troubles of flashing that 9800PRO to XT aren't worth it. The 9800PRO is an aged card anyways.

    If you flashed it and you get artifacts, then try re-flashing, and if that doesn't work, try looking around for an 9800XT bios thats made by the same manufacturer as your 9800PRO.
