ATI Radeon X1600XT

    I was just woundering if the POWERCOLOR Radeon X1600XT X1600XT256MBDDR3 Video Card - Retail was Crossfire compatible???

    and also do you think that this card is much of an upgrade from a ATI Radeon 9550 256MB RAM???

    haha are you kidding me of course it Crossfire compatible but are u sure u want to crossfire this single card cost almost $500 and the second question was the most stupid one i ever heard of. Of course it is way better then the Radeon 9550 256mb this card is a DDR3 it faster then DDR, and it Radeon's newest model so. If u really want to use 2 gfx card for ur computer i recommend use SLI instict of crossfire. and here a good card for cheap price to SLI : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814125156
    I have one of them and they awesome i can't imagine how would it be if there are 2 of them work together. if u patien some time they'll be on sale for only 120 a piece. I got my for 120 so u should wait.

    Yes it is crossfire compatible.Its a big upgrade. The 9550 has a clock speed of 250mhz and memory at 400mhz where as the X1600XT has a clock speed of 590mhz and memory at 1.38gighz.
