i just bought a new graphics card and i installed it on my computer. it works great with video games but when i try and open the ATI Catalyst Control Center it tells me i need to install one of the following versions of .Net Framework v.1.1.4322. i went to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&displaylang=en to download it and it comes up with an internal error when ever i try and download it. what can i do ?

The quote refers to downloading via YOUR WINDOWS UPDATE --- That is Click START --> Select Windows Update then click. This will take you to the Microsoft web site where automatically it will look at your O/S and decides what is missing... ! The Net Framework is an option that you must select before it gets installed on your PC. It should show up in the list. Once you have it ticked -- click install. Am sure your O/S is a genuine Microsoft and it has been recognized as such by the Microsoft Web Site ; cause when this is not so --- the Windows Update will refuse. Edited for typo.
I go into custome updates. click Software Optional. Find Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 Check it, and then install updates. while being installed, it tells me it was "unable to be sucessfully installed" ive tried this several times.
