right hello i have a ati x850xt mastercard (still waiting 4 the slave to come but lets not get in to that) what i want to do is play the new Colin McRae DIRT game but when i installed it it said my card dose not suport shader version 3.0 what i want to do is get around this like is there patch or somthing thanx
The only way around it is to get a video card that has shader model 3.0. The only ATI cards that have 3.0 is X1600,X1800,X1900,X2400,X2600, and X2900 cards. Nvidia cards that have 3.0 are the 6xxx series and above. Shader Model 3.0 is hardware thing.
