I already tried the search function, and I honestly couldnt find the answer I was looking for. So please dont flame me about that. I have a modded xbox. It is not banned yet. Im sure of that. Haven't been online since early September (studying for exams) Now I have played a game before its release date (I know, stupid, dont flame me about that). So I'm sure I will be banned if I go online, of course My question is, if I buy a new xbox, totally legit, no mod, can I do a gamertag recovery and not get banned. Or will the information that says I played a game early be transferred onto the new xbox and get me banned. I guess my question is, is the information that says you played a game before release attached to the gamertag or console. Thank you to the people who actually help me and not flame me
They won't ban your unmodded system. Probably the worst thing they could do is ban your gamertag. That would mean that you lose your tag and score and have to start over but your unmodded console wouldn't be banned.
To be honest, I'd rather my console got banned than my tag! >.< Especially considering that most of the points I got were from games I've purchased and all the hours I poured into getting my score up... :'(
