    Yeah I think they should attach small electrodes to CMC Mag media. Anytime someone picks a batch, they will be shocked. Each subesquent shock will be double the voltage of the previous one. This will consist of a series of 5 shocks up to 1000 volts. If after the 5th shock you still purchase CMC Mag, then you are an adequately mentally impaired, and worthy of your prize.

    Or, could be just another one that is into SM, and all that increasing,voltage, all that electric shock is nothing than mere pleasure! Who says CMC Mags are useless!

    @aabbccdd

    Your scanned is pretty good. Have you ever tried to scan at 4X? All of my 4X scans are better in results than any of my 8X scans. Maybe you should try some 8X DVD+R Taiyo Yuden next time to see what's the results.

    Alright folks, here is another awesome scanned, again from the one and only famous YUDEN000T02 (8X DVD+R MADE IN JAPAN) book typing as DVD-ROM. I've just burned this a few hours ago (SAW 2, US version, Region 1). Taiyo Yuden ROCK!!

    @alkohol

    yes they do~ LOL, very impressive scan btw on your Saw 2...nicely done~

    @aabbccdd

    actually, no they don't... :) Memorex DL has NEVER used "Verbatim" coding, and by "Verbatim" i am assuming you mean either "MCC or MKM"...simple mistake, but i am here to correct you...

    Memorex DL have only been 1 of two manufactuers : Philips or Ritek, Memorex only WISHES they could have Mitsubishi Kaguku Media produce for them, unless things change later, currently, this is NOT the case~ :)

    the "Verbatim" media ID code on their DL media is in my sig...it's MKM, as i mentioned above.

    Yes, Doc. is right, the Verbatim DVD+R DL is coded as MKM001. I've used over 40 plus, they all played and still plays flawlessly. MKM has never let me down, this baby is a top dog at the moment.

    alkohol seems like the 4x scan is about the same as the 8x scan .do you always scan at 4x? and i found something else out my Lite-On burner reads out as a Sony wow i didnt know that Lite-Ons were rebadged Sonys....

    [IMG]

    still a pretty good score ,might try the dvd plus r format to see if they will do better

    @aabbccdd

    I've always scanned mine at 4X, I think with 4X, it's slightly (20% - 30%) better than 8X on my drive.

    Here is one of my backup, nearly 4 months old "MADAGASCAR" burned on Verbatim 2.4X DVD+R DL (MKM001).
