When i burn mp3 to cd and try to play it back from the disk, there is a kind of 'skipping' sound in the background which gets worse as the cd goes on. The mp3's play perfect on my machine. Any ideas? I've tried various CD manufacturers
You might want to do some tests to find the guilty for the problems: - CD media - writer - burning speed - crappy player - PC problems (e.g. bad RAM) Try to replace these 4 things one by one - when does the problem disappear? Like this ...: - same settings, but use different CD media (other size could be worth a try - 650MB instead of 700) - use another CD writer (if possible) - lower burning speed - try with different players (e.g. playback from CD with PC software player) ...
Thanks for the advice. Figured out the prob.... my drive was set to digital playback but the error correction box was not checked, i ticked the box and copied CD's play perfect! Maybe i should use error correction for copying too? would this solve the skipping probs on normal CD player? (i think its just my stereo as its fine on my mates - he got decent one). Interested to hear what you reckon. Many thanks
