I have just had a "computer tech" work on my computer and he installed NERO I burned an audio cd and now it won't play...the original won't even play. I have windows media player and also real player installed on the puter but neither will play the cd. When I go to the NERO toolkit it tells me that the system ASPI files are missing. Any suggestions?
U can try to go to your computers device manager and click on action and click on check for hardware changes... that may asist u on gettin the sound back... also have u made sure that all ur volume levels are up to a level that can b heard....
I put in a CD that I bought at the store and it won't even play it. It says the cd I burned was completed successfully but it won't play on anything, including windows media player and real player....when I go into Nero Toolkit it tells me the system ASPI files are missing but the Nero ASPi files are there and working properly. When I try to play a factory CD this is the message I get.... The selected file has a scheme that is not recognized by Windows Media Player, but the player may still be able to play it. Because the extension is unknown by the player, you should be sure that the file comes from a trustworthy source. Any ideas? I tried going to the device manager and it says everything is working properly. All I have listed under actions in device manager is Help...
@SamiJo U could try to uninstall Nero and restart the PC and c if u get it too play with sound etc... if it works then try install it again... and if it goes again u know the source of the problem is the program... im not really sure what could b causing this....
