I have been using Clone DVD and Any DVD for years now with no issues when backing up my DVD collection. All of a sudden the last two movies I have tried to backup burn with the Directors Audio Comentary playing during the movie. It cannot be shut off in the options menu like you would normally. Any idea why this is happening? I didnt touch any settings and cannot seem to find any option to avoid this. It happens when I clone with all menus and extras. It seems to be choosing the wrong audio stream when it encodes it. Any ideas? Thanx. Im using version 2.8.5.1 but have had no issues until now.

When you go to backup uncheck the two channel audio and only keep the 5.1 audio. Directors comments are always 2 channel and you player is defaulting to this. Check on you player and if you can choose the 5.1 audio in you player setup and see if this gets rid of it.

that's right...... but Arniebear also mentioned to look at the player and see if you have an audio button that will allow you to play the different audio channel that will be the movie and not the directors comments!

Yes in Clone it will say 6 channel, I was thinking Shrink where it will state 5.1 and not 6 channel. My players will list it as 5.1. So many programs, so many idiosyncrasies :)
