I was wondering if anyone knew of any good audio extraction software for dealing with rm files and then replacing the audio track of an avi file with the extracted audio.
To extract the audio from an RMVB file and use it as the new audio for an AVI, try this - it works for me: (Assumes the audio from the RMVB is the same length as the AVI video). Demux the RM audio from the RMVB file using 'DTDriver GUI'. http://www.lillevold.com/files/DTDriver.rar Convert the RM to WAV using Shareware 'Wav to RM Converter' (twenty free conversions before registering) http://www.rmconverter.net/wav-to-rm-converter.htm Run VirtualDub and drag the AVI file onto the window. Click 'Video' > 'Direct Stream Copy' Click 'Audio' > 'Full processing Mode' > 'Audio from other file' > Load the new WAV. Click 'File' > 'Save as AVI'. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/virtualdub.cfm
