audio from hdmi

    I have been searching all day and my brain is fried, can any body point me in the direction of a list of receivers that can get audio from the hdmi cord.

    I am new to the home theater game and want a cheaper receiver that i can hook my stuff up with hdmi only, all these versions of hdmi are confusing.
