OK, I have used this site for about 2 years now and love it and someone has always had an answer for any issues I have. Have always been able to burn fine. The last 5 tapes I have burned I have had issues with audio somehow. I mean I have to crank the volume on my surround system where before I didn't have to. The tapes won't put out hardly any volume at all unless I change my surround system to a different setting instead of using "Normal Surround" which I have always used in the past and even then, the volume does not sound the same. I use DVD Shrink, Nero and run Any DVD. I do the same as I always have for the last 200 burns. Any ideas guys? I just thought of one thing, I just got Diret TV installed but I don't think they would or could have changed anything for audio. I am an idiot when it comes to all this tech stuff. I am 46 and never even had a computer until I was 30. Thanks in advance!
I kind of a newbie at this kind of stuff, but I would say maybe your laser is going dead on your DVD burner?? Just maybe what I think the problem is..
Never mind guys-I'm an idiot---had carpets cleaned and moved everything including my large screen TV and all my electronis and forgot to rehook up my middle speaker above the TV for the surround system--that's why everything sounded like it was echoing! Sorry guys--just getting old!
