I downloaded an AVI movie file, converted it to MPEG2 via that TMPEnc program. I did a 16:9 ratio, but the ppl were tall and kind of skinny after it decoded to mpg. I still burned it to DVDr after which i realized the audio wasnt lining up with the video. When i encoded, I set the Audio to encode at (VBR Mpeg-1 LayerII Audio MP2). Should I use (Linear PCM Audio)? If so, VBR or CBR. And when Im encoding the (AVI) Video to Mpg, should I use Constant Bitrate (CBR) or Variable Bitrate (VBR)? Also what is the difference between interlace and Non-interlace? And what exactly is Demuxing, and can someone please tell me how I can fix that bad audio to Video lining up badly. The original Avi file is 2.37:1 ratio, and 720 X 304, how can i determine how to make the image not so vertically stretchy? The DVDr I burned, did work fine on my standalone DVD player. Thanks for your help
hi if you want a quicker easier app and free use divxtodvd to make your avi to dvd then burn with nero or your fav app! or if you want to use tmpgenc plus use a template and the folder where the template is located go in one folder deeper and load the UNLOCK template over the top of the pal or ntsc template you first clicked! sounds hard bur dam easy! then let it run , no need to set it up as you have via wizard so load pal or ntsc template then go a folder deeper from templates folder to click on unlock template, basically loading 2 templates! but divxtodvd it alot easier but less professional!
