When I add an mp3 track to a movie project the audio is out of sync when after export -- the first second or two is cut off. If I open the project and click stop before play, it runs fine. If I just hit play, the audio problem occurs. It exports out of sync regardless. This is all pre-burn so it's not a DVD issue. Any help is appreciated!
I don't use NV3, so I probably won't be much help, but when you add the tracks, do you use the magnified view to make sure the assets are lining up and you have no empty space on the track. When you say the first second or two is cut off, you mean the audio is 1 or 2 seconds off sync and stays that way, or does it get worse? If it happens during the exporting phase, perhaps it is related to the way the MP3 is encoded. You can hold the mouse over the asset in the editing window and it will give specifics about the file. You might check it and then use another type of MP3 file to see if you encounter the same type of problem.
The problem occurs regardless of the view magnification. The song starts in sync with the video but the first couple seconds of the song is cut off. Thanks.
