I bought a plextor digital video recorder model 402u. I captured 4 vhs tape movies and the 1st, 2nd, and 4th movie came out good in regards to the sound being in sync with the video. My 3rd one, the sound did not come out in sync with the video (2 to 3 second delay). When capturing, i did not change any of the settings on windvd creator 2 from one movie to another. I first i thought it was the vhs itself not in sync, but i watched the movie and it was still in good condition. Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Sync problems can be cause from a Variety of things Like Captureing from an Old VHS Tape or Dropping Frames while Captureing or a Crappy capture device which is all i have heard about the One that you have....
USB Capture device are Notorius for Haveing Sync Problems and Problems with quality and From what I have heard about the Plextor USB capture device is that Most movies will do out of Sync after you have authored them to DVD...PCI Cards are still the best way to go....

    Well Good luck...Cheers
