Audio out of sync

    I have an avi file whose audio is slightly out of sync with the video. Is there an easy way to fix this?

    saddly, i have to say you cant fix that, its the persons fault of not transencoding or ripping it right

    But audio is only a bit early, and the spacing remains constant throughout the movie. I heard there were some programs that could shift the audio, and that, I think, would solve the problem. But which programs would do this, and how would I proceed?

    Hey guys,

    I have downloaded a AVI video and the audio is about 2 seconds ahead of the video.... there must be a way to fix syncing problems in any situation...someone does know how, so can you please tell us what programs and also how to do it?
