Using Nerovision 4 and making DVD's from MPEG-4s off my Sony SR-80 camcorder. I did this many times before, last time was about 6 months ago and all was well, however, now I am doing my year-end DVDs and find that the clips and the burned DVDs exhibit loud audio pops every so often (seemingly on voice peaks) that are not evident if I play the camera directly into my stereo or if I play the clips in Windows Media Player or Real Player. It happens with Nero and with ULead. Any suggestions? Thanks! Adrian Vancouver, BC
Strangely enough, I have had this happen to me when I was using a particular version of Nero 7(can't rember the version)....try updating your Nero to this version 7.10.1.0 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?2893
That worked! Thanks!! (The update was a bit cryptic though... chosing "check for updates" from within Nero said there were none available, however, when I did what appeared to be a download of a trial version of Nero 8 {i am on 7} it downloaded an update to 7 {not 8!} and everything worked fine after that). Thanks again. I am a very happy camper! Adrian.
That link would have taken you to filehippo....all you needed to do was to click on the GREEN arrow for 7.10.1.0...good to hear it's solved the problem.
