I hooked my usb microphone up to my laptop and its a "Compaq Evo N180". When I record somthinng in my music software It wont let me hear anything. I went to the sound recorder in windows xp and it let me hear myself very clear. Its just that it wont let me record myself in some of my music software like Audacity, Mixcraft and a couple of more. Can someone please help me fix this problem. Thanks
In the settings for Audacity, Mixcraft etc you need to go in the options and choose which output to use for recording i.e. microphone in on what ever sound card you’re using have a look you’re soon work it out
