I have a movie file (.avi) which I'm trying to put on disk. When I play the file on my computer everything is fine. I'm using nero 7 to burn it. The problem is there is no audio after I burn it to disk. I also tried burning it to the hard disk, still no sound. Any ideas why there is no sound.
    Thanks

As an AVI file or converted to DVD movie format?
If it's DVD, it will have an AC3 audio track.
The likes of VLC or MPC should play it.

I'm using vlc to play the disc or files after I burn with Nero but there is still no sound. There's sound only when I play the original avi file

I would try converting the AVI using DVD Flick or FAVC - either can output to the HDD or optionally burn the disk.
If they fail, it would seem to be the source - if they work then I would run a different file through Nero to see if it was a general problem with Nero.
