I can't get audio but sound only on ITV3 and BBC 1 Wales. BBC1 Wales has been a problem for some time but I didn't really care but ITV3 only started difficulties today. Incidentally, ITV1 hasn't worked in sound or audio for several weeks and I have to watch it on ITV1 Audio

    absdigi.
sometimes cable companies move channels around and u get bad or scrambled info, u have 2 options factory reset [erase] and do autoscan ur provider, emu to on, or do a manual scan on the frequency ur channel is on,the only problem there is u need ur areas frequency for that channel.

    Hi cactkid
Thanks for that. I am always very reluctant to delete channels and it all seems so complicated. Why can I only watch Ch 4 and ITV1 as Audio Description stations? Why still no Ch 4 + 1 ? LOL
This is a PM advice I received from one of the country's big experts:

Take a note of the frequencies on the problem channels, then delete them. Rescan on the noted frequencies and they should appear fixed at the bottom of your channel list.

    Hi Country's leading expert-Sc0user !

I've tried it but don't know how to "rescan using a frequency" :(

Download the Starview Guide in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post.

It's totally incomprehensible. I know someone who used it and lost EVERY channel and had to buy a new box

Thousands of people use it and not a problem cannot see how the guide bricked a box more like a user problem not a box one.

    Sc0user-
Deleting channels and then scanning again using a frequency can be very dangerous indeed if someone is inexperienced in this area. The guide does not explain how to do it

I have now gone through all my channels and the following also has vision but no sound-
Jetix + 1 (but not Jetix)
    No idea why!
And just to confirm-Some of the UK TV stations no longer work but only in + 1 form, whilst UK Drama doesn't work at all

Surely a SIMPOLE guide to all this is possible and designed for those of us who don't know what a frequency is
