    Hi,
I'm a newbie, so please bear with me. I followed the guide to splitting AVIs with VirtualDub (easy). However, before I split the file, I got a popup message that said there were problems with the audio and the audio stream would be 59000 ms off. I didn't think that sounded like a huge problem, but when I checked the new AVI afterwards, the audio was wayyyy off. Can someone help?

Well, 59000ms == 59sec, which is pretty damn huge gap. I assume you have VBR MP3 audio? Extract the audio using VirtualDub before you do anything and re-encode it to CBR MP3 using LAME and then apply it to the video again and split that one then.
