audio source won't work

    i added my video source *.d2v no problem but my audio source gives an error message that the avi won't open or is unsupported. what can be the problem? this is what i'm working with:

    TMPGEnc2.53.35
    TMPGEncVFP_Install.bat

    Audio source being what file?

    I ADJUSTED ALL THE SETTINGS IN THE DVD2AVI PROGRAM AND SAVED IT AS MY AUDIOSOURCE FILE.

    Ok, so you have now d2v and WAV files, right? Load the WAV as your audio source and it should work (you tried to load d2v as audio source, correct?).

    NO I USED THE CORRECT FILE, AND IT GAVE ME THAT ERROR MESSAGE.

    your probably trying to encode the audio as DTS
    format, If thats the case try encoding the audio to AC3 format (2 or 6 channell should work)
