Which program did you use for the encoding?

the original avi file is in sync.. i tried encoding it with divxtodvd and videstudio 9 and the audio starts off in sync but 35 minutes into it, it goes out of sync, ive tried a mess of stuff. taking the audio from the original file and encoding into waves, pcm, etc and putting the rerendered audio into the mpeg2 taking out the original audio that was in the mpeg2 file and the replaced rerendered audio didnt work, i need some more ideas how to fix audio sync

If the lag isn't uniform througout, it would be more difficult to correct. You may try encode with another program (e.g. Winavi, DVDSanta) to see if it's better.

    Good luck!
