I'd like to add a music subtrack (proper term?) to a home movie I'm building. The music is on a CD which I own. I'm not getting into legal questions, I'm just looking for technical help. The video is an MPG file which already has audio. What software can I use to add the CD music as a low volume background music?

I already use ULead Movie Factory SE 3 which came w/my DVD burner. I also use DVD Shrink, Cucosoft AVI to DVD Pro and TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6.

    Many Thanks.

Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus. I've done it many many times as I make all kinds of videos. Simply open the track you'd like added from the cd. Pinnacle will automatically re-encode as mpeg1 or 2 from cda. You can adjust the modulation however you choose after it's been added to the movie. I see a lot of people are using the Ulead product. I'm a huge fan of Ulead's PhotoImpact, but as far as video editing, there isn't much to utilize.
