Audio sync in tmpeg

    I have not been encoding long. but i sucsesfully done one film divx to vcd.
    but every other film i try does not go properly. the vidio and audio are out.
    i have tryed different thing and i have followed the guide on the site.
    please could someone help me, cos im about to give up.

    The movies may have a wierd frame rate (ie 20fps), and Tmpenc may not be doing frame doubling properly. Otherwise, use audio edit in Tmpgenc and try manual to syncrinise the movie.
    Last resort, video shop and hire it.

    Try using VirtualDub to sync the audio with the video.

    that's what I was going to say, also there's a version of virtual dub for mpeg2 or nandub or virtual dub mp3 freeze, which I THINK is supposed to be better with syncing, but I'm not entirely show how stable/good it is.
