I've tried various searches in the forums and can't seem to find the solution. I'm sure it's hidden away in a thread somewhere, but can't find it. Apologies for creating another thread! I have a MKV file with DTS audio. Previously, when using TsMuxer to convert the file to M2TS for the PS3 the file played without any audio so after a bit of reading online, I realised that the audio needs to be converted to AC3 in order for it to be compatible with the PS3. Using MKV2VOB, and ticking the "Always transcode DTS" button, the audio converted to AC3 and now although I get sound when I play it on the PS3, it is 2-3 seconds out of sync. I don't know how to correct the sync problem and can't seem to find the solution anywhere. Could someone please help??
Anyone able to help? I've done some more browsing and tried extracting the video and audio using MKVextractGUI, then converting the audio using eac3to and then muxing it back together with TsMuxer - the audio sync is even worse, at least 6-7s out! What else can I do?
