I recently downloaded a copy of Invincible AVI file with Ares Ultra in order to burn it to DVD. The file dowloaded fine & played back great on my computer. However, when I went to convert it using AVI2DVD the resulting ISO files where out of synch. The audio was behind the video. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is anyone aware of any solutions?

Almost everyone experienced this at least once.

That AVI has MP3 VBR audio instead of a MP3 CBR one.

A solution has been explained in the FAQ: the VBR stream must be decompressed and you must either:
    1) use the WAV file, not the AVI's MP3 VBR one, during encoding
    2) encode that WAV --> AC3 or MP2 with FFMPEG GUI or HeadAC3He and ise that stream suring authoring [DVD = M2V [MPEG-2 video ] authored with one (or many) AC3 or MP2 stream(s)].

I think I have figured out how to extract and replace streams using VirtualDubMod. However the Decompresseing and a encoding process is what I'm having trouble with. I need to know:

    1. How to decompress and what tools to use?

    2. How to get HeadAC3He or FFMEG and how to encode with them?

Keep in mind, I have read and researched this site FAQ's and Guides for a couple days now and have tried to learn throuh trial and error. I think I might be having trouble with the terminology. Are there any comprehensive walk throughs?
