    Hi,

I know that there is a similar thread to what I am about to ask, but my problem actually seems to be more opposite that problem (the thread I'm referring to is the thread that discusses the lack of audio that is exported in vision 5).

    My question/problem is this:
I'm working with Vision 5 to create a movie. I'm exporting it as MPEG-4. I have one audio in the background - a wave file. When I play the video back in Showtime, the picture is fine and the audio is present. When I play the video in Windows Media Player, I get no sound whatsoever, but I do get picture.

Is there a simple solution to this? I'm wondering if it has something to do with codecs, and if that's the case, I really don't know where to look.

    Thanks so much in advance.

Try installing FFDShow, a free media decoder. It is compatible with all media players including WMP. Upon installation, WMP will use the decoder automatically.
