I've ripped the DVD to .VOB format, I am using a converter called "Any Video Converter", and I'm trying to make so I can watch it on my PSP. It seems to work, but everytime the audio is either slower or faster than the video. I've tried to mess with the bit rate settings, but I haven't had much luck.

    Here are my settings:

    -Video bit rate: 768
    -Video framerate: 25
    -Audio bit rate: 160
    -Sample Rate - 44100

Anyone know what the problem is? Or at least tell me another converter that would work better?

    Load the output in AviDemux.
Set the 'Format' to mp4 (I assume that the file is mp4).
Check the 'Shift' box and put in an estimate of the delay (500 or -500 for a half second sync error).
Choose a short clip with the slider and A/B buttons.
Save the clip and test it for sync (give the file a name that includes the extension , e.g. clip.mp4).
When you have the correct setting, save the entire video.

An alternative is to run XviD4PSP.
Set the output for PSP and load the ripped VOB files.

also you might want to change the framerate to 23.976. This setting will be on top menu/video/framerate.
When converting mpegs/vobs to avi or other format, that seems to keep the audio sync from drifting.

You can use SmartRipper or DVD Shrink to do the convert job. They are able to rip a DVD to a single VOB file.

And I know MPEG Video Wizard DVD is capable of fixing audio/video sync problem, I have used it for a long time, and it works well.
