I recently ripped some PSX .STR files off of [bold]Resident Evil Directors Cut[/bold] for PSX and converted them using Psmplay ver. 3. the video speed is 2x-3x faster and the audio is fine. the movie just hangs at the last frame and stays there until the audio part of it is done playing. I converted it to an AVI since Psmplay only supports AVI conversion. I've tried all the different video codecs while converting it and gives me the same result. now in TMPGEnc(standard) i found that if i sellect the [bold]3:2 pulldown[/bold] and [bold]do not frame rate conversion[/bold] options i can get some videos to sync perfect with the audio. heres my problem now i got audio that is 3:49 minutes. long and the video part of it is done in half or a little more than half way through the audio and finnishes, the audio still plays all the way through. now how can i get these syncronised? when i view the original video off of the PSX dic it is 3:45 mins.there is and extra 4 seconds of audio in the converted one(STR>AVI)and want to know how to cut it our.i want to get the video to play at normal speed. help me please.
what do you mean? read the sites FAQS?if thats the case i did it and none of it helped out. EDIT:and second i have been doing DVD authoring for about 3-4 years now with TMPGEnc and have never had this problem. I am not a noobi when it comes tot his stuff cause my pop authors DVD profeesionally and i learned all i know from him. He doesnt even know how to fix it. EDIT: i figured out the problem, i used [bold]Framerate Converter HQ[/bold] to slow down the video to the right speed and then used Nero's audio editer to cut the extra 4 secs of audio out and it plays perfect now at 10 fps. EDIT: reconverted it with 30 fps instead of 10 fps and used [bold]FCHQ[/bold] to slow it down by 20%. Absolutely perfect!!
