I know that Xvid is not a sound codec, but I have downloaded 4 movies recently that are all encoded with Xvid and the sound is out of sync with the picture - it is always a few swconds ahead. I never have this problem with DivX encoded movies. Do any of you experts have any idea why this may be happening? I haven't got the fastest of PC's (600MHz Athlon, 256 MB Ram, ATI rage Video, card but I would have thought this is sufficient?). Thanks in advance for any advice.

I had the same problem on a XviD movie of mine....I resolved it by updating my codecs with the 'SLD Codec Pack 1.4' Do a google search...The programs free! Should cure the problem...It did me!
