I am a total n00b at doing this but I took a mpeg file, converted it using x video converter, changed the file with infoedit and burned it with nero. The video lags behind the audio and I don't know how to fix it. Any help?
Well get the free trial version of DVDSanta, and a couple of RW discs' put your movie in it. press the advanced option button, that'll give you, sound, and picture timing, in milli secs about 2000 ms = 1 sec and play from there. Once you've got it sorted...burn it. regards gringle
Ok! I think you'd better download a Klite codec package from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm to have a try! BTW, maybe you can have a try on winavi video converter http://www.winavi.com/avi-to-dvd.htm to do this job!
