OK, here's the thing. I've got some divx files here. And in windows media player, I only get audio, not video. However, in divx player, and in realplayer, I get audio and video. I really prefer to use windows media player, so is there any real trick to finding out if maybe there's a missing codec that somehow Real and Divx player got that windows media didn't? Looking at the properties of the files, all the non-working files are reported as having a video compressor of 'DIVXMPG V4', but most of my working files also use that, so that shouldn't be it. Any ideas?
have you loaded the latest nimo codec pack? if not, here it is.. http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html hope it helps (usually does)
