I am trying to show a dvd on the pc, but there is no audio. on a stand alone dvd player, the audio works fine. the disk does show a audio_ts file. all other audio and dvd's working fine on computers. any thoughts?
The AUDIO_TS folder on a DVD is empty - the actual movie audio is included with the video files. A software player like VLC or MPC Home Cinema should play it ok. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Media_Player_Classic_Home_Cinema
try selecting the right audio track in whatever media player it is you are using.. IF the only audio is on track 2 instead of being on 1 or 0 a pc player often won't output any sound.. a standalone usually has the audio output set by default to "auto" if it only finds one audio stream.
