I'm not pregnant (thank God), but I wanted to know what other people may answer this question: Would Auslander make a good father?

The debate has been on for awhile between Auslander and myself, and I believe he would. I also told him I'll start a thread to see what everyone on AD thinks (he is expecting all bad remarks). So have fun!

if you all only knew me in real life (except you, Lola...so i guess this goes to ddp, lol), i think you'd hold me in relatively high esteem. :p would i make a good father? i've seen sooooo many bad examples; at this point, i'm pretty sure of everything not to do, so i'm sure i'd do mostly the right stuff. some of you talk to me a lot; let's hear your thoughts.

Being a father at a young age is extemely difficult, no matter your demeanor. You make, or should make, a commitment for life. I know. I married my wife when I was barely 20, and she was 18. We are still married, 35 years later, but only because we both worked hard at our marriage.

Raising a child (children) is not an easy task. Anyone who has raised a child has made mistakes. Disciplining is not easy. You do the best that you can, and above anything else, you show your children that you love them.

You have alot to think about. No one knows if you will be a good father, but yourself.

Im sure you'll make a great father but the hardships don't even come close to what you may think....it's worse!

At a young age we all thought we had the answers but it's all bullshit.

Try taking care of yourself before taking care of another life. What I mean by this is move out on your own with no support from your family and see if you can do it for a few years. If all goes well then cool, if not then it won't be so hard as if you had a family of your own with no place to live.

Brandon you should really think about this.

lol, believe me, bud...it'll be another good 5-10 years before i go around, procreating and such. :) i know i'm no where near ready for something like that and at this point in life it'd be a bad mistake, but i still feel i'm at least the building blocks of a good dad here, lol.

Don't worry, it'll definitely be a while before he has any children, if he has any at all.

I'm not sure that will work, I went to college and ended up with three kids. I think I slept too much during class and missed something :~)

So you're going to publicly deny our love child Auslaner? Anyway, while I have your attention it's your weekend with the little bastard and I don't want any excuses like last last month - I've got my ballet classes and I'm not going to miss them.
