None of these forums or tutorials seem to go in depth of this a whole lot. Is Auto-Installer Deluxe 3.0 Final a way to update your dashboard? If it is, how can I get it? I don't have XBL, and I can't burn it to a DVD or whatever. What game can update my dash, or where can I purchase a disk of Auto-Installer Deluxe 3.0 Final, and also, what is the most up to date version of the dashboard which works with the SID?

No..I have a softmodded Xbox, and I'm going to mod my brother's, but his dash isn't updated all the way, so the latest version of the SID UnleashX installer wont work with it, I'm wondering how I update his dash. Thanks for the replies so far anyway.
Before softmod, update his msdash by load new games which has xbox Live. Like gosht recon, etc.. Load the game up and look for dashupdate. It will update your msdash.
