Morning, If I am in the wrong forum, please tell me where to go.... My computer started last week doing something strange. When I shut Down, the computer will log out and shut down to no power. After about 2 seconds, it starts back up again. Is the a Windows/Power supply/mother board issue?? Any ideals are ALL welcome Thanks JOBRLA
My advice, is remove any sd/compactflash etc media card readers that you have connected to your usb plugs. When I had a similar problem, it was usb related. When I removed the media card reader that fixed it. If that isn't the problem you might want to reload the usb drivers.
is the on and off button jammed er something? try discounting it from its power source and letting it sit for 30mins for the computer to discharge all power from the mother board, then plugging it back in....and see what it does then....aslo try a new PSU a usb issue i doubt it......... but it wouldn't be a first for windows! http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6142_102-0.html?forumID=7&threadID=43986&messageID=518184
