    Right guys and gals...

    I have a Eurovox Max V PVR and a new Eurovox ex1000.

Every time I update my channels it arranges my lovely sorted channels alphabetically...

I do not wish to use favourites - I only wish to use the channel guide....

This was all fine with my old Max V just cant work out where the setting is...

There is a settign in scan section to switch off fav auto sort but this does nothing for me??

    Any ideas?

press Menu and navigate to Installation and press Ok on Fast Install
Unless changed the PIN number is set to 0000
Now on this screen press Red for the Advanced Install
Now we need to navigate down to Fav Sort
Once Fav Sort is highlighted press right and the option will change from ON to OFF
Now the important part, we need to press Exit
Now press RED to update channels or YELLOW for full power scan

If the screen goes black for a while leave it...

It should be ok after a while

yeah i had this same trouble thanks for the help but i want to ask one thing.

when you press 'OK' to get the long list of channels up i found on the eurovox pvr that when you press red something happens like its sorting something but i'm not sure what its sorting cuz the channels stay in the same order (they are in alphabetical at the moment) do you know what this is??
