Hi, i'm new to any HD or Blu-Ray related converting, burning etc. I've just been using the afterdawn guide for tsMuxer, everything goes well until i burn the files using imgburn, even though imgburn reports a successful burn, the disc has no data on it when opened, explored or when i click on properties. I'm sure it's something simple, also if the original mkv files resolution is below the normal blu-ray standard can ths cause more problems apart from the green boarders and can they be replaced with a black boarder, thanks for your help.
Are you running XP or Vista. If XP you need to install Toshiba's UDF 2.5 driver, not sure how though... I though I read somewhere on this forum or in the PS3 forums.
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated, i'm using windows xp, so i need to install this driver, i think i've already got it as i use to have a xbox hd dvd player that i used with my pc. I just install the driver? Can i still use my normal samsung burner to burn the files or do i need a hd or blu-ray burner, thanks again.
If you are using your PC to play the AVCHD discs then you need the driver. If you're using a BD player then you do not need it.
Thanks you for the help, i,m using a pc but i made the disc for my nephew to play on his blu-ray player, i just didn't understand why the discs appeared to be blank, i thought some data would show up when the disc was explored etc. I will try the UDF 2.5 driver, just need to find it, so hopefully when i try the disc tomorrow they might be ok on his blu-ray player, I thought at first it might be that the files and folders were not in the right place when burned as there is a message that pops up when i load them into imgburn that is not in the guide, giving me a yes or no option regarding the placement of the folder etc, thanks again.
The UDF 2.5 driver worked a treat thank you, not sure why it wasn't mentioned in the guide, i'm new to blu-ray file structure etc, normally just do dvd authoring, so many thanks.
