Hi! I wondered which tool is the best for converting avi to DVD?
I've tried a few but I am not satisfied with the output quality.
There seems to be some "bricks" at the top of the picture every now and then and just overall poor quality.

Is there a tool which I can be sure will do a decent job?

    Thanks in advance!!

Yeah got the newest version, but It's a pay program.
Damn, is there a tool which really rock. can't figure out why when I set a movie to widescreen, the output file is in 4:3. Pretty annoying!

You can use xilisof video converter. It has more settings you can customize. Video size, Audio codec, bitrate, NTSC/PAL, frame rate etc. can be selected. Or you can just keep the default setting to get the best output quality when you begin to convert your files.

Just wanted to thank you guys, they are all some good tools, but I think I will use either WinAvi or DivXtoDVD Free Edition.

    Thanks everybody!
