    Hi guys

I have this problem and I dont know what to do.

    I'm using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 to convert AVI(s) to MPEG1 format ( VCD(s)).

Everything works fine ,the sound is good but the picture ( video ) isnt. For some reason when I convert to MPEG1 I get this weird *pink spots ( blocks )* all over.

    ( Screenshot ) http://sniip3r.kitt3n.com/images/avi-2-vcd.jpg

I have 10 DVD rips and I'm having this problem with all of them.

Anybody knows why it does that ???

    Thanks

hum I think I seen that before when I installed angelpotion codec. I got those pink spots I then uninstalled angelpotion and everything worked fine after that. its worth a try.........

Yep you either have the angel potion codec or the nimo codec pack or both, See what happens is, when the angel potion mpeg-4 codec is there with the mpeg-4 alpha release codec, there is a conflict between the two causing colour problems like we have seen here. And it is not always pink either, you can get other colours too!
