   hi there,
   
   i keep downloading avis and find that they are really dark when i view them. i know virtualdub can lighten them but have been unable to find how u do it. Can anyone help??

   Go to the Video menu and select Filters. When the filters window pops up click the Add button on the right and scroll down to Levels. Click OK and the Levels dialog will appear. Just play with the controls to see what happens.
