i never had this problem before but since installing XP pro I cannot play any of my movies.
My movies (AVI's) play but in a slow motion and blurry manner.
i tried the AC3 filter that didnt change anything. I have nerobuild8 installed and divx etc so i dont know what im missing?
it must be a video codec but which one?
    help me plz.

Ok, you should download GSPOT. Its a useful program that most of the time will determine if you have the right codec for each of your movies(both audio and video codecs). Do you mean nimo build 8? because codec packs in my opinion are crap. Just uninstall all codecs that you dont need and keep the ones you do, that should take care of any codec conflicts that may happen.

yeh nimo build 8. i used gspot and on most films it kepts saying i had loads of different codecs that could play the film. but which ones should i keep?
ill uninstall nimo and divx and do it all again see if it changes anything.

Which codecs does gspot tell you that your codecs need to play? Well try uninstalling all video codecs that came with the nimo pack only, except for the newest version of divx(im not sure if that come with that version of nimo but if not just get it off of the divx site. See if your movies play with that codec. Btw, which codec did the majority of your movies need to play?
