My Dvd player is able to play divx/xvid movies, but it can not play the avi files from my digital camera right. it plays the video but not the audio, because the player does not support Microsoft ADPCM. so I want to convert the audio track to MP3 (not a seperate MP3 file) for example. so my dvd player can read it. (without changing the video codec) any suggestions how this can be done easily?
Try this: Install the Lame ACM codec and open the AVI in Virtualdub. Choose Audio/Full Processing. Then, Audio/compression. Choose an output format for the audio. Set Video/directstream copy File / Save avi
Okey,i have met this problem, but my digital camera is sony, i just use this video converter to do that, may have you it works well with SPAM,i suggest you convert to MGEG files
