AVI Display Pic

    After convering a DVD to avi, the AVI file shown in the folder shows a pic from the movie. Is there a way to change that picture to say the title pic?

    Do you mean when using Windows Explorer, the first frame of the movie is shown as the thumbnail?
    You can replace it with a frame from the video using VirtualDub.
    It involves selecting the frame and appending it to the front of the video.
    If the correct options are selected, the video is saved with only those frames adjoining the new frame being re-encoded.
