Hi I have several avi - divx movies I have burnt to DVD disks. (5 per disc etc) When playing in my home dvd player i only get stereo left and right and not surround 5.1 I am a n00b so be gentle.. How do i encode these avi files so i can achieve 5.1 sound?
maby the files that you encoded don't have 5.1 sound, the best way to be sure what audio is on the file's use g-spot and that will tell what audio is on the files.
make sure when you get your files off the net, that you look at the audio to make sure that it is at least 5.1 or better
